The Job:

This role can be broken down into several parts:

  • stock management,
  • production orders
  • consignment details.

You will be reviewing material stock sheets, keeping a very good level of stock availability throughout the year. Confirming and checking production data from the factory to ensure it is correct before allocating stock accordingly and recording any waste.

There is also a necessity to verify a lot of accuracy on all consignments to ensure a specific quality of service. This is a unique chance to learn the basics of a procurement role before progressing into a more senior buying position.

This role has an added element of admin and costing administration. You will also be responsible for quality and quality control in the products that are being purchased. It is an ideal next step for an aspiring procurement administrator who would love to progress in the sector.

The Candidate:

To be successful in this role, you would have the following:

  • Experience with fresh produce & food would be desirable and allow you to understand the supply chain and speed of product much easier.
  • A degree or higher-level education would be desirable.
  • Excellent communication, Microsoft Office and time management skills are a must to keep you working to critical deadlines and to a good standard..
