POST TITLE: Trainer Assessor – Brickwork
DURATION: Two Years
LOCATION: Springtown Centre

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Applicants must have at least:
1 a relevant* Level 3 qualification;
2 either hold or being in the process of completing a recognised assessor qualification, e.g. D32/33, A1/A2 Assessors, TAQA Award or equivalent, OR give a commitment that you will undertake a recognised assessor qualification within one year;
3 one year’s employment experience of training and/or assessing in the relevant* area;
4 a relevant* Level 5 qualification;
5 GCSE English (Grade A*-C) or Essential Skills Level 2 (or higher) in Communication, or any qualifications which are deemed to be equivalent;
6 GCSE Maths (Grade A*-C) or Essential Skills Level 2 (or higher) in Numeracy, or NICATS Access Maths Modules, or any qualifications which are deemed to be equivalent.
*relevant defined as in the area of Brickwork or Trowel Occupations.

Applicants should note that the above criteria are the minimum requirements only and may be enhanced at the discretion of the short-listing panel.
There is a possibility that a reserve list will be retained if more applicants are deemed suitable than posts exist. In the event the successful candidate fails to take up the post or if the post is vacated within 6 months of the appointment date, or if another vacancy arises within 6 months the post may be offered to the next person on the reserve list. This excludes posts where panel lists will be created and maintained for a specified period.
