The Role

The perfect opportunity for an experienced Desk Based Account Manager with telecoms knowledge and the ability to close new business and retain existing customers via the telephone. We won’t apologise as it won’t always be easy, but if you have a strong work ethic, are good at building rapport with customers, love overcoming objections and challenges and have a positive attitude to achieving targets, then we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • End user interaction on the phone
  • Upselling products into our existing base – Voice, Data, Cloud and Mobile services
  • Closing opportunities in a timely manner
  • Build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships
  • Maintain the CRM system to develop prospecting and sales
  • Administrate orders on behalf of the sales manager
  • Devise and offer customized, cost-effective solutions
  • Maintain open and effective lines of communication throughout the company to maintain a sense of teamwork, enthusiasm, pride, and quality workmanship

Experience and Skills

  • Experience in a telecoms or IT industry is essential
  • A minimum of 12 months’ experience within a similar role would be advantageous
  • Proven track record of closing new business
  • Hunter – likes the thrill of closing new business and recognition from contributing
  • Strategic thinker
  • Strong ability to present the strengths and capabilities of the business 
  • Shows an understanding of the strategic direction in business
  • Positive attitude and personable
  • Excellent written and communications skills
  • Ability to:

−     self-generate leads

−     Manage a heavy workload, prioritises and schedules work effectively in order to meet all deadlines

You will be the face of b4b group – a brand ambassador and the first impression to all our customers. Targeting small and medium businesses you will identify their connectivity needs to enable the telecoms team to propose innovative and cost-effective solutions.
