We have vacancies within our Lakeland Supported Living Service where we support people in Lisnaskea and Enniskillen.

Team Leader
37.5 hours per week (temporary position for 12 months)

The Team Leader will provide shift leadership to support workers, and will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high quality person centred service. They will provide direct support to individuals and to staff toensure best practice is promoted.

Essential Criteria
  • At least two years’ experience of supporting people within a social care setting including knowledge of the principles of supported living.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience of supervising staff including ability to coach and mentor team members.
  • Experience of working in a team
  • Flexibility to be part of a rota of staff support, working unsociable hours and sleepover shifts
  • A full driving licence and access to a car insured for business purposes* to transport people supported OR A full valid driving licence* in order to meet the requirement to drive Motability cars

*this criteria is waived for candidates unable to meet it due to disability

Desirable criteria
  • Experience of working with families and external HSCT colleagues 
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care

Flexible hours, various shifts to include waking nights, evenings and weekends


What we expect of you:
  • To provide people with the individual support they need in the morning, afternoon and at night time
  • To support people to live in their own homes and to be a part of their local community
What we need you to have:
  • 6 months’ experience providing care or support for someone
  • A full driving licence and access to a car insured for business purposes* to transport people supported OR A full valid driving licence* in order to meet the requirement to drive Motability cars
  • A positive attitude about people with a learning disability, acquired brain injury and people on the autistic spectrum
  • The ability to see possibilities
*This criteria is waived for those unable to meet it due to disability
