 Job Description

This role will be responsible for the organisation of the stores in our Mallusk Site. Ensuring that operatives are issued with the required materials, whilst maintaining stock levels.

Role Overview:

This role will be responsible for the organisation of the stores and ensuring that operatives are issued with the required materials, whilst maintaining stock levels.

Reports to: Store Manager

Direct Reports: N/A

Working Hours:

  • Monday – Friday
  • 7.30am – 5pm
  • Flexibility is required.

Roles & Responsibilities:

–          Unloading and putting away deliveries, ensuring accuracy

–          Set out complete orders for daily collection by operatives

–          Monitoring of stock movement for example, returning stock to supplier

–          Operation of fork lift truck and some minor driving duties

–          Monitoring stock levels using the internal computerised stock system

–          Provide professional customer service both internally and externally

–          Establish and maintain good working relationships within stores, operations, colleagues and suppliers.

Personnel Specification:

Essential Criteria:

–          Previous experience in a similar role

–          Ability to work independently and use initiative

–          Ability to work as part of a busy team

–          Excellent communication skills

–          Good IT skills

Desirable Criteria:

–          Previous stores experience within a construction / builders merchants stores environment

–          knowledge of construction industry and materials

–          Driving license

–          Current forklift license
