One of the world’s foremost retailers of alloy wheels, tyres and aftermarket car parts, Performance Alloys is now recruiting a passionate and driven SEO Assistant to join the growing team in our Antrim HQ.

Our ideal candidate will have extensive SEO experience and a proven track record of being able to increase organic traffic volumes and customer conversions. You will be comfortable dealing with large site structures and will work to implement search-friendly architectures and strategies across our range of products and website pages.

With a strong, self-motivated approach you will take the lead on keyword research, content optimisation, link development and will assist with competitor benchmarking, site analysis and will report to company directors to help measure the effectiveness of SEO activities across the business.

The SEO Assistant will also work closely with the web team to help contribute to SEO-friendly content and marketing strategies and will have input into relevant activities such as site redesigns.

A solid knowledge of the latest SEO best practices and experience with relevant platforms including Google Analytics, Keyword Planner and SEM Rush is essential, along with general knowledge and experience of social media, content marketing and e-commerce.

You will be working as part of a friendly and energetic team, and will have the opportunity to work with exciting products and a world-class leading e-commerce website. A keen knowledge of the Magento platform would be a bonus, however full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement a high-quality SEO strategy across our website, optimising pages to increase organic traffic and conversions
  • Research and create effective metadata for products to maximise search performance and increase organic sales
  • Work with the web and marketing team to support SEO-friendly content and marketing strategies
  • Regularly contribute relevant content and blog post ideas to drive organic traffic to the website and increase backlinks
  • Create and distribute analyses and reports to effectively measure SEO performance across the site
  • Monitor and track site performance and keyword rankings, and benchmark activity and performance against that of key competitors
  • Assist relevant teams with SEO requirement for activities such as the identification of new product opportunities, site redesigns and more
  • Occasionally assist with the creation and scheduling of social media posts across a range of different social platforms.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • A minimum of 12 months’ experience in a similar role or position
  • Educated to a Bachelor’s level or higher in SEO, digital marketing or a related field
  • A proven track record of increasing organic online traffic and customer conversions
  • High computer literacy and full competency with Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, SEM Rush, Keyword Planner and similar tools
  • An analytically-minded approach with excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • A solid knowledge of the latest SEO best practices, social media and e-commerce trends
  • Confidence in writing high-quality meta, on-site content and social media posts
  • Strong self-motivation, plus the desire and confidence to take an initiative
  • The ability to deal with multiple developing scenarios in sync as part of a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Salary & Job Information:

This is a full-time role based in our head office in Antrim. The successful SEO Assistant will enjoy a competitive salary of £18,000.00, plus perks that include flexible working hours and free on-site parking.

A general knowledge and passion for cars and all things automotive would be advantageous, as would experience with the Magento e-commerce platform and omnichannel retail.

Experience:
