Sales Manager

Value Stream Machinery is currently seeking a highly ambitious Sales Manager to join our team. The Company is enjoying exceptional growth and is now providing the opportunity for the right person to grow sales in the NI and ROI markets.  The important role will report directly to the Managing Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactive new business generation throughout Ireland from initial lead generation through to completed sale
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop proposals that most successfully meet clients’ needs
  • Attend industry conferences and events with the aim of keeping up to date with market trends, developing new business and supporting existing clients
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Manage existing client relationships for growth through exemplary customer service and up-selling new products and services
  • Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge across the range of company products and services
  • Provide accurate and timely reports on sales activities to the Managing Director and maintain accurate CRM data
  • Identify opportunities for new services, products or distribution channels that aid company growth

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of five years field sales experience
  • Experience of negotiating high value deals in a B2B setting
  • Experience within Industrial, M&E Contracting, Construction or Engineering preferred
  • 3rd Level Qualification in Business/Marketing or relevant technical discipline preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills 

The Package:

  • Basic salary of £25-30k
  • Realistic OTE of £55-60k (uncapped)
  • Company Car
