Job Overview

The UK Education team is focused on sales to schools, colleges and universities across the UK and Ireland. We are looking for an enthusiastic and results-focused Sales Executive to join our successful team, supporting and eventually handling new business sales within the Grouped Schools sector, which is a team focused on large scale opportunities with Local Education Authorities and Multi-Academy Trusts.

Main Responsibilities

  • Active lead generation and prospecting
  • Raising awareness of the Texthelp product portfolio and providing information on our software solutions to prospective customers
  • Setting up and managing trials
  • Preparing quotations
  • Carrying out webinars and onsite visits with prospective customers
  • Managing the sales pipeline, from enquiry right through to closing
  • Attending trade shows and exhibitions, and following up with leads obtained
  • Working with Marketing to deliver strategic promotional campaigns
  • Contributing to team and division meetings
  • Maintaining customer and prospect details on our CRM database
  • Meeting and exceeding personal and company targets

Essential Criteria

  • Third Level Qualification in a relevant discipline and a desire to succeed in sales
  • Or a minimum of 2 years proven track record in winning new business sales (ideally in business to business environment)
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable Criteria

  • Excellent IT skills
  • Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of sales within the education sector
  • Sales experience in the software/IT sector
  • Familiarity with CRM systems

  • Strong work ethic and positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Excellent communicator who can converse at all levels
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Ability to learn new tasks and work with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to travel within the UK
