Retail Store Manager

Cordners are a family run business and are currently looking for an experienced Retail Store Manager to join their team in Ballymoney. As a Retail Store Manager, you will demonstrate excellent levels of customer service and selling, use your commercial knowledge to ensure your store is merchandised and presented to the highest standard each and every day.

Description:

Managing all aspects of the day-to-day running of the store, engage and inspire their team to work together, maximize sales and subsequently drive the profitability and commercial success of the store.

Reporting to: Directors

Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

  • Managing all aspects of the day-to-day running of the store, from Administrative duties to Visual Merchandising.
  • Drive and Maximise sales through your team.
  • Ensure that a high level of customer service is delivered at all times.
  • Ensuring that store targets are not only met but, where possible, exceeded.
  • Lead and develop the staff which includes, recruiting, training and development of new staff members.
  • Manage Staff Rota.
  • Creating a positive working environment where colleagues are actively focused on driving the success of the store.
  • Act with integrity and be accountable for your work.
  • Ensure company standards are maintained at all times.
  • Implementing and managing all company change initiatives effectively.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation.

Essential Skills:

  • You will have a strong retail background ideally in the shoe or fashion sector (not essential) together with a proven track record and the ability to demonstrate consistency in achieving results.
  • You will possess excellent communication skills as well as excellent customer service skills and a real ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Strong Leadership Credentials.
  • High level experience in Customer Service.

Full Time Permanent – 37.5 hours/week.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
