 Job Description

The job holder will be required to grow the customer base in counties Down and Armagh.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Understand and execute a professional consultative selling approach to grow the customer base in counties Down and Armagh.
  • Prepare customer proposals and solutions with clear costings and evaluation
  • Pro-actively pursue new opportunities for business growth
  • Negotiate to retain existing customers through a thorough knowledge of market dynamics and effectively combating competitor tactics
  • Be able to segment your customer base and proactively manage margins
  • Network at supplier and industry events to promote the Calor brand
  • Build a strong network of partners including installers, architects, specifiers, industry partners to build relationships and seek support for business growth and retention
  • Have a thorough knowledge of Industry Codes of Practice and apply these in a consistent manner with the highest regard for safety
  • Apply technical knowledge to deliver LPG solutions to new and existing customers with safety as the highest priority
  • Plan and time manage with competing priorities as part of a winning team through diligent territory planning in order to achieve targeted performance, with a clear Strategic Plan in place
  • Provide updates via CRM, monthly team meetings and monthly reporting as required
  • Network with and support internal colleagues to provide a customer centric approach to deliver the highest level of service
  • Minimum of five years in a sales/technical sales role
  • Experience within the energy sector would be an advantage
  • Sound knowledge of IT solutions and operation of a CRM system
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Highly organizational skills

  • Full clean driving license

  • Availability for extensive travel in NI
  • Willingness for personal development and training in the role is essential
  • A third level qualification in business/engineering would be an advantage
