Legal Secretary Position

This is a great job opportunity for an experienced and highly skilled Legal Secretary to join a top commercial law firm in Belfast. We are a top ranking firm with a 125 year pedigree.

Duties of the legal secretary job include:

  • Excellent IT skills including knowledge of a case management system – Proficient in using Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint

  • Digital Dictation/Audio Typing – Experience of Big Hand desirable but not essential as training will be provided if required

  • Liaising with clients by telephone and email regarding payments and follow up credit control

  • Managing diaries and making travel arrangements

  • Ad hoc reception duties 

    Administration work often involves working independently to tight deadlines, prioritising workload

The successful candidate is likely to have the following attributes:

  • Previous experience as a legal secretary working with wills, probate and conveyancing.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work on their own initiative as well as ability to be a team player

Salary negotiable dependant on experience.
