Terex are delighted to announce that we are now recruiting for a HSE Advisor to be based at our Ballymoney site. If you have a passion for Health and safety and are interested in building a career with one of the largest engineering organisations in NI then Terex may have the role for you.

Reporting to the HSE Manager you will be responsible for the Health, Safety and Environmental processes onsite. You will liaise with managers and staff, providing an advisory service to ensure compliance to the policies by all Team Members. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining ISO 14001 OHSAS 18001 system
  • Safety Performance KPI reporting
  • TEREX Monthly reporting
  • Leading of Steering / Safety Committee
  • Assistance in the Claims management process
  • Medical Scheduling
  • Risk / COSHH assessment updating
  • Safety project assistance
  • Incident investigations
  • Working with regulatory enforcement agencies / Insurance agencies
  • Environmental / safety auditing
  • Assistance in achieving company set HSE Targets
  • Environmental monitoring & measurement

The successful candidate must have:

  • NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
  • 1 years’ experience gained in a similar role
  • Knowledge of current Health, Safety and Environmental Legislation

Desirable criteria will include:     

  • Experience working to ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 standards
  • Knowledge of PPC Regulations
  • Environmental Qualification
  • Train the Trainer Certificate
  • Fire Warden Qualification
  • First Aid Qualification
  • NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management Certificate
