Located in Londonderry, Northern Ireland, Seagate’s Springtown facility employs over 1,300 people. Our facility is among the most advanced in the world in the design, development and volume manufacturing of recording heads. These are the microscopic devices which write information to, and read information from, the recording disc inside a computer’s hard drive.

HR Assistant – HR Shared Services (Ref: HRC/191007)

We have an exciting opportunity to join Seagate’s EMEA HR Central shared service center based at our Springtown facility in Derry/Londonderry.

The successful candidate will provide customer-focused HR services, leveraged by technology, to deliver meaningful HR support to a multi-national EMEA employee group. Working within a true team environment, the incumbent will build credibility with customers through quality responses to their questions and needs.

Duties will include:

  • Provide Tier 1 direct support to HR customers via email, web chat or telephone on HR general information, policies, processes and systems. Customers include company employees (managers and individual contributors), vendors and other third-parties.
  • Administer HR manual & online transactions for core HR processes, manager actions & employee self service processes
  • High quality support to recruiters in scheduling interviews and other candidate and hiring manager-facing processes
  • Provide general administrative support including filing, printing and photocopying

The successful candidate will ideally have Human Resource experience, within a team-focused customer service environment, and can provide good examples of success within this experience. In order to facilitate shortlisting, the company reserves the right to apply enhanced criteria.
