Job Description

As Inside Sales Account Manager your responsibility will be to establish relationships and sell Micro Focus software products and services directly to a variety of strategic, complex and tactically important accounts. Using your experience of selling complex solutions to enterprise accounts to achieve established account strategies, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing license revenue within a defined customer base.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities

  • Establish relationships, engage key stakeholders to identify opportunities and sell Micro Focus products and services
  • Within a defined territory, create and maintain sustainable customer relationships to deliver sales growth to meet and exceed targets
  • Inbound and Outbound calling to new and existing Micro Focus customers
  • Create and deliver sales campaigns to existing Micro Focus customers
  • Interact with customers at senior management level with emphasis on forming business relationships with C level contacts within these accounts
  • Understand and document customers’ business and IT strategies, priorities and goals; capture this data in CRM system
  • Develop, execute, and maintain account strategies to drive revenue within assigned enterprise accounts
  • Develop and maintain strategies with resellers, system integrators and any other external partners
  • Ensure accurate and timely forecasts


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Demonstrate a track record of B2B Sales and Account Management
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with both business and IT customers
  • Strong consultative selling ability – critical questioning, listening, analysis, negotiation, communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and processes including the ability to understand customer needs and overcome objections
  • Highly energetic and self-motivated attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present to both technical and executive audiences
  • Demonstrate effective time management to meet team and customer deadlines



Requirements (Education, Certification, Training and Experience)

  • B2B sales experience
  • Software sales experience an advantage
  • Experience in negotiating and closing high value deals
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Experience in the identity/access/security software market an advantage
  • This is an English speaking role
