Helpdesk Operator

McLaughlin & Harvey Ltd have an exciting position for a Helpdesk Operator due to high demand and increased workload within our FM Department. The successful candidate will receive full training enabling them to provide a Helpdesk and administrative response service on behalf of our clients to the highest standards. The candidate will be expected to work across a range of systems, such as CAFM, document management and client software systems.  They will be part of a small but critical operational team responsible delivering the helpdesk and administration functions for several blue-chip clients.

Skills Required

  • Ability to directly engage with clients, direct engineers & suppliers in a polite, friendly and confident manner.
  • Confident in communicating with colleagues and facility managers.
  • Proactive, passionate and driven.
  • Awareness of a wide range building services equipment and functions.
  • Experience of working in a customer service environment.
  • Identify problems and escalate immediately for further action/intervention.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Friendly approach and enjoys working within a team.
  • Experience of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience of CAFM and Document Management systems.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a Helpdesk or administrative role
  • Business related qualification
  • Previous experience of the FM/Property/Construction industry.
