The Lead Recruiter is responsible for the end-to-end execution and delivery of the Recruitment process.  Including execution of the pipeline and organization of the selection process.


Job Background/context:

Citi HR 2020 is a strategic HR initiative centring on three strategic priorities for HR globally. One of our key priorities is operational excellence which includes the creation of a globally consistent In-house resourcing model.

The EMEA Graduate Recruitment team directly supports Citi businesses in the attraction, selection and programme management of Graduate and MBA Hires. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end graduate recruitment delivery for specific business area (s) or geography.   Ensuring that the programme targets for specific business area (s) or geography are adhered to. Including spring, summer, placement and full time vacancies for both analyst and associate programmes
  • To include spring, summer, placement and full time vacancies for both analyst and associate programmes
  • Partner with the Recruiting and Programme Advisor to understand the overall graduate recruitment strategy and supporting campus activity for the specific business area 
  • Ensure “best practice” recruitment guidelines are administered throughout the recruitment process, providing updates on any changes to the process
  • Act as credible business expert in graduate recruitment market trends. Keeping abreast of trends and producing supporting competitive research and insights when required
  • Ensure the candidate tracking system and candidate pipeline is updated on a day to day basis
  • Line manage and develop a less experienced recruiter including goal setting as part of the year end process and conducting regular one to one meetings
  • Assist the Recruiter with the planning and execution of interviews, assessment centres and other relevant selection/offer events
  • Produce candidate MI/statistics for both the business and Recruiting and Programme Advisor as required 
  • Ensure all Citi applicants receive an excellent candidate experience during their application journey
  • Extending candidate offers in a timely manner
  • Ensuring all hiring policies and procedures (compliance, legal and regulatory requirements) are adhered to and candidates are hired and on boarded seamlessly
  • Attend campus events where appropriate
  • Ensure all candidate profiles, interviewer lists and selection materials are updated on a yearly basis
  • Training the supporting screening teams to ensure a clear understanding of analyst/associate profile and criteria is achieved. On a daily/weekly basis as required, ensure candidate screening is undertaken swiftly and effectively
  • Attend and lead the assessment centre wash up sessions with the relevant business stakeholders
  • Review and innovate processes and procedures when identified to improve efficiency
  • Line manage and develop a less experienced recruiter including goal setting as part of the year end process and conducting regular one to one meetings
  • Conduct HR spring interviews if required 
  • Where required design, execute and deliver diversity cross business programmes.

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Recruitment experience required ideally within a graduate recruitment function or agency 
  • Understanding of the banking industry and culture an advantage
  • Experience of managing multiple client stakeholders


Qualifications:

  • Preferably educated to degree level but not essential if balanced with relevant experience
