Responsible for actively engaging clients in pursuit of continued renewal of Maintenance Contracts. Build relationships and negotiate with existing customers, being the “go to” account manager for customers and partners. Identifies and responds to customer (internal and external) enquiries for administrative support. Builds strong cross functional relationships within the Micro Focus group to improve the effectiveness of Customer Care. Ensures the accuracy and timely submission of maintenance renewal quotes/invoices within assigned territory. Demonstrates the ability to personally plan for achievement of performance goals and exceed quota for the assigned territory.

  • Contribute to success of the team quota.
  • Possesses knowledge and expertise specific to the business of maintenance renewals.
  • Demonstrates the ability to personally plan for achievement of performance goals.
  • Identify renewal accounts sending quotes out in a timely manner consolidating where appropriate and seek opportunities to sell multi-year maintenance policies.
  • Focus on daily telephone work (reminding/chasing/convincing).
  • Interacts extensively with internal / external customers.
  • Serves as a key contact for customers.

Required Skills

  • Understanding of Maintenance Renewal contracts
  • Must be fluent German speaker
  • Highly motivated self-starter who is articulate, persistent and outgoing with a proficient phone demeanor and able to represent the company professionally.
  • Demonstrated success in evaluating customer needs and developing actions plans.
  • Team player who can quickly establish working relationships with a wide range of staff including representatives from field sales, marketing, finance and product support.
  • Be able to follow a sales process, overcome objections and find solutions to those objections thus maximizing the revenue stream to Micro Focus.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Articulate and professional, enthusiastic attitude and a focus on results.
  • Business minded with strong communication, negotiation skills, and sales acumen.
  • Able to travel occasionally (including overnights) to customer meetings and training.
  • Medium proficiency in Excel & Powerpoint
  • Very good English.
