Job Purpose

The Facilities engineer will have responsibility for any and all equipment identified by the Engineering manager. They will be involved in keeping all facilities and operating equipment at an optimum service level. Ensuring that all PPM’s relating to the site facilities are completed and meet the site targets. Assisting with production installations as requested and required. Work with production engineering as requested by the Engineering supervisor.

The Person

  • Candidates should have relevant experience in an industrial environment with exposure to facilities equipment, i.e. HW boilers, refrigeration systems, CW & HW systems, compressed air systems.
  • Qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Three phase electrical, mechanical and pneumatic equipment.

The Job

  • To ensure and carry out preventative maintenance on plant and machinery
  • To be involved in site projects for services install and commissioning
  • Carry out routine maintenance on all company machinery and equipment to include fault finding, problem solving and minor repairs to minimise down time.
  • Full, accurate and timely completion of all maintenance logs, schedules, etc. to comply with Health and Safety legislation and company, insurance and ISO requirements, etc.
  • Ensure quality procedures relating to maintenance are followed
