 Job Description

We require a late shift customer service adviser to assist our growing team in our Lisburn Depot. This role will also involve face to face interactions with our drivers as well as answering emails and telephone queries from our customers.

McCulla Ireland is at the forefront of temperature controlled transport in the UK & ROI. We require a late shift customer service advisor to join an already busy team based at our Lisburn Depot. This is a critical role to the operation in the evenings.

The hours of work will be between 13:00 – 21:00 Monday to Friday (we are considering making this part of  2 week rotation with a day shift working 07:30 – 16:30 if this would be a preferable option). A requirement to do a 1 in 3 Saturday day shift is included in the salary.

Duties include:

Answering telephone & email queries in a prompt and friendly manner

Assisting our transport desks with the flow of paperwork for deliveries 

Debriefing our drivers when they return to the depot ensuring PODs are signed and accounted for

General administrative work when required

Criteria:

MS Office proficient – we use a number of Microsoft applications as well as transport management systems 

Previous customer service experience is essential

Experience in a transport environment is desirable but not essential

Attention to detail

Someone who follows through until the job is done – this role is critical to the whole operation
