Exciting opportunity for a graduate in Energy, Building Services, Technology with Design, Design Engineering or similar.
BPC Ventilation Ltd. in partnership with SWC are seeking to recruit a Graduate Design and Development Engineer in establishing a New Product Development team within the company. BPC Ventilation Ltd. is a major supplier of ventilation units and components to the construction industry and is based in Larne. The company is a leading specifier, supplier and installer of MVHR units across the UK and Ireland and also manufactures a number of components to ease on site installation of its systems.
During this project you will bring to market innovative MVHR equipment for low energy houses. The role will involve working closely with academics from South West College to embed product design and development processes as well as innovative refrigeration and low energy technology knowledge to support the transformation. You will be based predominantly at BPC Ventilation Ltd in Larne but may also be required to spend periods of time at South West College and on-site visits.
The successful candidate will require:
Third level qualification in Energy, Building Services, Technology with Design, Design Engineering or other closely related discipline.
Knowledge of component selection and/or product development.
Experience of product testing, data capture, monitoring and evaluation.
Strong organisational and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
