Let's Go Hydro are recruiting for a Chef de Partie to assist the Team in Lets go Hydro. £9.00 - £10.50 per hour DOE.

Role: Chef de Partie

Located: Belfast International Watersports Resort, Knockbracken Reservoir, Mealough Road.

Hours of Work: 40 – 48 hours per week, five-day week including weekends – with additional hours during the busy season and key events.


Seasonal Role:

  • Start date April/May 2019
  • End date Sep/Oct 2019


Job Summary

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and experienced assistant chefs to work with the Team at Let’s Go Hydro, ensuring all our catering is efficiently run and that we deliver great quality food and drinks to enhance our customer experience!


Responsible for: Assisting the Chefs working in the busy café & pizza parlour.

Hours of work: Will vary from week to week, shifts will be both day time, late afternoon (up to 9pm), weekdays and weekends, including holidays and bank holidays

Salary: £9.00 – £10.50 depending on experience


Main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Prepare, cook and present meals including: Pizza, pre-booked meals, breakfast & lunch menu, and for events & group bookings
  • Ensuring preparation of hot and cold food, hot and cold drinks are to a high standard and that a high standard of food and hygiene is maintained
  • Assist with stock replenishment and stock rotation, checking deliveries on arrival, liaising with managers with any issues when necessary
  • Ensuring excellent customer services is provided
  • Ensure daily and weekly cleaning duties within kitchen and records are maintained
  • Ensure compliance with fire safety, health & safety and health & hygiene standards and regulations


Key Competencies:

  • Relevant knowledge of food and drink
  • Experience making and preparing Pizza is preferred
  • Passionate for food quality
  • Confident with a high standard of communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a busy customer focused environment
  • Smart appearance and good personal hygiene
  • Team player, flexible and committed


Essential Criteria:
1 year kitchen experience in catering and hospitality AND

  • Level 2 or higher Food Safety Health & Hygiene Certificate (must be current)
  • First Aid Certificate (must be current)
  • Experienced making pizza
