 Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a senior HR professional with 8+ years experience to join FinTrU's established HR team as the company embarks on the next ambitious phase of its growth.

Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure all HR processes and procedures are robust, fit for purpose and comply with legislation, constantly review the relevance, accuracy and application of all HR policies and practices, create and implement processes to ensure 100% accuracy of all HR data and MI
  • Coach and advise line managers on the management of employee related issues within their own teams and provide advice on grievance, disciplinary, performance and all ER matters
  • Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships, ensuring consistency of approach
  • Support the team with talent and succession planning initiatives for the business
  • Assist the HR Director with the development of clear performance management across the business and provide coaching to line managers on the PM cycle
  • Work alongside the Learning and Development Manager to ensure that the training needs of the business are supported
  • Work alongside the Talent Acquisition Manager to support and identify recruitment needs
  • Challenge and influence current ways of working to drive a positive change and work with the rest of the HR team to lead improvements across business areas
  • Ad hoc projects/HR initiatives as directed

 

Skills/Knowledge

 

  • Significant experience of having successfully worked within professional services or financial services
  • Experience with managing a team
  • Proficient in the use of the full Microsoft Office suite
  • CIPD Qualified to Chartered Membership (or equivalent)
  • Experience using an HR Information System
