Receptionist

RECEPTIONIST 

 

As Receptionist and Administrative Support at Kainos, you will be expected to take the leading role in the provision of professional reception services and provide general administrative and facilities support across a wide range of the day to day facilities related activities within the Facilities team.

 

Minimum (essential) requirements:

  • Experience in a reception/administrative role
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office applications (in particular Word and Excel)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Diligent in coordination and maintenance of all records
  • Self-starter, able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both orally and written
  • Excellent team player capable of delivering results in less than perfect circumstances
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Attention to detail
  • Complies with all confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and / or agreements and always ensures security of information

Summary of responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the efficient running of the Belfast Reception services
  • Providing a professional and friendly Reception service to meet the business needs
  • Responsible for an efficient professional operator telephone service
  • Providing  reception and admin related services including:Sourcing, reviewing and measuring courier suppliers in line with company and team policy
  • Ensure  the reception area always projects a positive image
  • Manage visitor passes and work passes for visitors and contractors
  • Processing facilities requests within the Facilities SLA
  • Assisting Facilities team(s) in all other Kainos locations
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Understand and follow emergency procedures
  • Support other departments as requested, at peak periods or coverage of holidays
