Westland Horticulture was established in 1990 and leads the market in garden, bird care and environmental products, as a result we are one of the fastest growing gardening businesses in the UK and Ireland.

Westland is pleased to announce the availability of the position of Payroll Administrator located within their Head Office site in Granville Industrial Estate Dungannon. This is a new role and the successful candidate will assist the Payroll Manager with the processing of the company’s payroll in an accurate and confidential manner.

Main responsibilities will include the following:

  • Inputting payroll data onto Sage for 500 plus employees;
  • Gathering timesheets from all the Westland sites;
  • Processing and Issuing payslips, P45’s / P60s to all employees and other relevant payroll information;
  • Processing deductions i.e. Pension/ CSA/COPS;
  • Processing P46 Cars/P11d’s;
  • Compiling Pension Reports for outside pension provider;
  • Processing payroll reports and bank files for the Finance team;
  • Monitoring and updating employee holiday and sickness tracker;
  • Monitoring all annualised hours;
  • Processing expenses to include private miles etc.;
  • Processing monthly payments to HMRC;
  • Processing monthly payment to Aegon;
  • Helping with all employee queries and any other duties relevant and related to the position.

Essential Criteria:

  • A minimum of 1 years’ recent experience in an administrator role;
  • A Minimum of 5 GCSE’s A-C including Math and English;
  • Computer literate, proficient on all Microsoft Office programs specially Excel;
  • Possess excellent attention to detail with good numerical skills;
  • Responsible attitude to the confidentiality of personal information.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Previous experience in a payroll Role;
  • Previous experience using Sage Payroll software.
