The role

Working as part of the supply chain team based in our global headquarters in Craigavon, you will be responsible for material stores duties in and around any of the Almac buildings. This ranges from receiving deliveries, dealing with production/chemists/analysts, operating to the highest GMP standards, completing documentation, managing engineering consumables and waste disposal.

A significant part of this role will be the organisation, classification and inventory management of machine spares for equipment used within the GMP manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be tasked with critically reviewing the current process with a view to making significant changes to the way in which these items are controlled.

Essential Criteria

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent), grade C or above, to include Mathematics and English Language

 Desirable Criteria
(The following criteria may be applied if a large pool of applicants exist)

  • 5 or more GCSEs (or equivalent), grade C or above, to include Mathematics, English Language and Science
  • Previous experience operating a counterbalance fork truck
  • Previous experience operating a computerised inventory control system
  • Previous experience in a stores environment
  • Previous experience of working in a Chemical Manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of cGMP
