Working as part of the Analytical team based in our global headquarters in Craigavon, you will perform, monitor and accept accountability for all assigned analytical duties relating to specific chemistry and/or analytical projects.

The role

Working as part of the Analytical team based in our global headquarters in Craigavon, you will perform, monitor and accept accountability for all assigned analytical duties relating to specific chemistry and/or analytical projects.

As part of a busy team within a rapidly growing organisation, operating within a challenging industry you will benefit from the numerous personal and professional developmental opportunities available throughout the Almac group.

Essential Criteria

  • GCSE (or equivalent) passes, grades A-C, in Mathematics and English Language
  • BSc (Hons) in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences (or due to complete this academic year)
  • Practical experience of analytical techniques like GC, HPLC, MS and NMR

Desirable Criteria
(The following criteria may be applied if a large pool of applicants exist)

  •  High level of practical Analytical Chemistry content in degree
  • Previous analytical experience within industry (i.e. pharmaceuticals/fine chemistry) gained through placement or work experience
  • Working knowledge of multiple analytical techniques
  • Working knowledge of COSHH
