Electrical Estimator

William Coates Ltd. is a leading Mechanical and Electrical services contractor and is currently inviting applications for the above position.

Reporting to the Head of Estimating Dept. the successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Preparing estimates by compiling takeoff based on the scope of work and entering into computer estimating system, review computer printout for accuracy and completeness.
• Reading Electrical Technical Specifications and Employers Requirements for proposed Design & Build projects.
• Managing & interfacing of the tendering process with the various departments, and the timely submitting of the tender.
• Assisting in compiling the Technical Submission of inclusions, exclusions, clarifications and program of works.
• Managing the quotation request process and review quotations for completeness
• Managing multiple projects at any one time.
• Predicting possible issues and pitfalls of projects, and advising the bid team of project risks and solutions.

After the successful bid at project handover, meeting with the Construction Team to fully explain the estimate, scope of work, quotes and offer aspects for the successful transition of the project.
