A fantastic opportunity to join our award winning manufacturing company based in Antrim.
To provide confidential secreterial, administrative and data processing support to the Human Resources function.
The successful candidate will work flexibly and collaboratively with all departments in a professional manner contributing to the provision and development of a generalist Human Resource service.
Main Responsibilities of the Job:-
To maintain effective filing systems including ensuring that electronic personnel records are updated and compliant with GDPR regulations and relevant retention periods.
Administration of the time and attendance system to include updating leave requests onto the appropriate systems in a timely and accurate manner.
To facilitate minute taking as required.
To arrange meetings, booking rooms and hospitality as requested.
To maintain and update the HR diary.
To assist the Human Resources Officer in preparing return to work documentation.
To collect, sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
To provide recruitment administration support to the HR team i.e. producing application packs, scheduling interviews and issuing interview outcomes.
To assist the Human Resources Officer in the processing new starters/ leavers within the organisation.
To provide administrative support within the area of training and development.
To assist the Human Resources Officer in the preparation of the weekly payroll.
To produce reports as required.
To be successful you must have:-
5 GCSE’s grade C and above including Maths and English or equivalent.
2 year’s clerical/administrative experience in a busy office environment.
Experience of dealing with internal and external queries.
Competent in using Microsoft Office packages.
Good interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work to a high degree of quality, accuracy and confidentiality.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work on own initiative.
Qualification in Excel.
Experience gained in a Manufacturing Sector.
Experience in supporting multiple sites.
Experience in working in a HR team.
Key Terms & Conditions
Full Time, Permanent Contract. 6 months probationary period applies.
Hours of work
40 Hours per week exclusive of break times: Mon – Fri 8.30am – 5pm.
£8.00 – £9.00 per hour (depending on experience) Payment is weekly by BACS.
3.5% employer contribution on all basic hours worked.
3% employee contribution is mandatory for employer contribution.
5.6 weeks inclusive of all statutory holidays and factory closures. (Loyalty days can be accrued with length of service).
Westfield Healthcare Level 1 cover for the employee : Available after 6 months and covers the employee’s children under the age of 18.
Non-contractual and fully funded by the company.

Available after 3 months service.
“Profit share” and “Customer Satisfaction” bonuses apply.
