Excellent opportunity for a Accounts Receivable / Payable Administrator based in Mallusk

Brett Martin, established in 1958, is a £155 million turnover multi-site international manufacturing organisation employing 800 people throughout the UK and Europe. The company supplies specialist plastic products for the construction, fabrication, print and display sectors worldwide with over 60% of output exported to distributors and customers in over 70 countries.   The company is seeking a dynamic, practical and self-motivated individual in the following position based in Mallusk:

Accounts Receivable / Payable Administrator – ARPA-19

Salary-  £18-£20k DOE

Reporting to the Financial Controller the role has two primary functions – Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.  The Accounts Receivable Role is to process sales invoices and perform the function of debt collection ensuring customers pay on time. Managing overdue balances & resolving queries by contacting customers by phone, email & letter. The Accounts Payable Role is to register and scan invoices and chasing managers to authorise invoices.

Applicants should have:

  • Five GCSE passes (or equivalent) including English and Maths
  • A proven and demonstrable administration experience within Finance base environment for a minimum of 1 year.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Good IT Skills – MS Office and Accounts Software experience
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and ability to deal with customers & internal staff.
  • The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • The ability to work under pressure to achieve Monthly Targets
