Due to continuing success and growth, we have a fantastic new opportunity for an Accounts Administrator to support our Finance team. Reporting to the Office Manager you will play a key role within the team, primarily responsible for subcontractor verifications and payments.

The Role

  • Subcontractors – verification of details including checks with HMRC, reconcile invoices, process payments, documenting and updating records.
  • Subcontractor Invoices – ensure authorised, coded and processed.
  • Queries – ensure resolved queries are actioned and removed from query list on a daily basis.
  • General administrative duties including filing, reception cover and any other duties required to fulfil the requirements of the position.

The Person

  • Ability to take ownership of their duties and a willingness to grow and learn within their team and the company.
  • Demonstrate a good ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to deal with high volume of processing.
  • Capable of task management, problem identification and resolution.

The Experience

  • 1+ years similar experience in an account’s office environment and 5+ GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above, to include English and Maths.
