Service Team Leader required in Belfast.

Full-Time Service Team Leader covering Belfast and South Eastern Areas

Temporary 6 months  with salary of £17,550 – 18,525

You will oversee the delivery of exceptional care to those in your charge, whilst ensuring that the care delivered is person-centred, safe and fully in-line with the care plan.

As a Regional Service Team Leader, you will lead a well-trained, motivated regional cluster of Care Workers, driving best practice in the delivery of care packages, service implementation, and assisting with rota scheduling. We know that the care we provide is only as good as the staff we employ and therefore we are very particular about who we employ. That’s why you will play a key role in working with our central resourcing teams to ensure you have sufficient numbers of good quality carers available for you to accept new packages of care and for your region to grow above your targets. You will have a winning mentality and you will work closely with other service team leaders to offer peer-level support and guidance.

Required Skills & Education

  • Holds QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) with a willingness to complete the QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Adults’ Management) Wales and Northern Ireland
  • Demonstrable experience in providing strong leadership and direction in the field of Care or a related environment
  • Ability to effectively manage self and others
  • Willingness and ability to train and develop team members
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to schedule and assign work loads
  • Demonstrable IT skills (basic to intermediate user level)
  • Full driving license and car required
