SENIOR PAYROLL ASSOCIATE FULL TIME - PERMANENT Lisburn Road, Belfast Salary: up to £22,226 per annum

With a current headcount of over 1,450 staff and currently going through a period of organisational change, development and restructuring, an exciting opportunity to join our payroll team within Central Office, Lisburn Road Belfast has arisen.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to bring knowledge to and build upon your experience within a rapid growing organisation.  You will supervise an experienced payroll team to provide a quality and accurate payroll service to all employees, whilst ensuring all compliance with the relevant tax and regulatory authorities.   The post holder will be required to ensure that all monthly and year end activity is competed accurately to include monthly and annual payroll accounts and reports to both the regulatory authorities and the Organisations Finance Department.  This role requires excellent attention to detail as you will be required to input and extract data from our payroll systems and ensure accuracy of all payments including salaries and expense payments, HMRC, Revenue, Pension Providers, etc.  If you have good analytical skills, continuously strive for improvement and the ability to work to deadlines then we want to hear from you.


To be considered for this role you must meet the essential criteria listed below:

  • 5 GCSE passes (or equivalent) to include English and Maths plus 3 years’ experience working in a payroll department and using computerised payroll systems OR

  • 5 years’ paid experience working  in a payroll department and using computerised payroll systems

  • Extensive knowledge of statutory regulations and returns

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel and Word
