Reservations Executive – Full Time

An excellent opportunity has arisen within The Fitzwilliam Hotel Belfast for a experienced Reservations Executive to join our team.  Under the guidance of the Director of Reservations and Revenue, the Reservations Executive will be responsible for the coordination, input and follow up of all guest accommodation reservations within our 5* property.

The department interfaces with a range of clients consisting of Individual guests, companies, agents/tour operators and also has overall responsibility for the management of numerous booking channels including Third Party, GDS, internet sites and internal systems.

It will be your responsibility to ensure reservation enquiries are handled efficiently and effectively, and every opportunity to optimize sales is taken, the main priority of the Reservations Department is to maximise revenue, average room rate and occupancy and achieve budgetary requirements.

The essential skills are;

The successful candidate must be able to offer previous knowledge of using a Hotel Reservation System (preferably Opera)

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Taking responsibility/ownership of the department
  • Computer and systems literate to a high standard
  • The ability to make concrete and effective decisions
  • Performing at a high level
  • Producing results in an efficient and effective way
