Excellent opportunity for Quantity Surveyor based in Moira.

Joining McMullen Facades Ltd you will become a member of the Commercial department working alongside the Commercial Director, Commercial Managers, QS’s and Assistant QS’s. You will report directly to the Commercial Manager, supporting the whole team.


You will ensure positive cash flow in the company and to provide accurate financial reporting of work in progress. You will ensure payments are received within the agreed contractual time spans.


The post holder will:

  • Agree interim claims dates with client’s contractor/surveyor, prepare interim claims and agree final accounts
  • Provide evaluation of work in progress to senior management
  • Monitor and revise contract value as work progresses
  • Submit quotations for additional work to clients
  • Complete quotations for work of a major nature in conjunction with Estimating department.
  • Chase outstanding monies
  • Complete financial reporting on contracts when requested by senior management
  • Perform quantity ‘take offs’
  • Visit sites when necessary for interim claims valuation and client’s offices for disputes on final accounts
  • Complete and maintain basic contract administration
  • Formulate contractual claims where relevant
