Do you want to see more fathers actively engaged in their children’s learning and in the communities they live in?
Do you love working with people?
If so, then this opportunity may be for you –
This role requires you to work in the community and school setting with fathers and male carers in order to address the barriers to families supporting their children’s education and to provide opportunities for men in the BAME community to engage in the wider community through volunteering, and support to access local services.

This will involve group and individual work with fathers and children. Most of the interventions will take place between 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday however some flexibility will be required for evening and occasional weekend work.
Whilst the main focus of this roll is to support fathers and male carers, you will work with a team to develop the service in the schools and to encourage the men to attend other interventions.
