MAINTENANCE FITTER (CARN HATCHERY)

The successful applicant will join our maintenance team in Carn Hatchery, Craigavon, ensuring shift coverage for all the facilities on the site. In short, they will ensure the effective and efficient utilisation of plant and equipment by the use of modern maintenance techniques and will be required to carry out scheduled preventative mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks. Applicants should be fully time served in a trade, preferably electrical and have mechanical maintenance experience. To be considered for interview applicants are expected to fully outline their experience on their application forms. In addition, experience of fault finding on automated machinery would be an advantage.
The following essential criteria must also be met in addition to the above:
Applicants will be required to work unsupervised as well as part of a small team; therefore communication is a key element to the positions. Applicants should be able to speak, read, write and listen in the English language. The successful applicant will be required to maintain up to date maintenance records. Flexibilty with working hours is essential.
Applicants will be asked at interview to demonstrate their experience and knowledge on all the above.
