About the role

Spence and Partners is currently embarking on the transformation of its IT estate to a Cloud-First strategy.

As a Project manager, you will join a highly specialised team with a broad skillset that is passionate about ensuring excellence and high-quality service is delivered to group companies with ultimate end user satisfaction.

The role of the Project Manager will have the following duties and responsibilities, by way of example:

  • Business Analysis of all aspects of IT matters;
  • Effective management of all IT projects to include:
  • Project planning
  • Availability of resources
  • Pilot planning
  • End user acceptance testing
  • Report creation
  • Management of 3rd parties/consultants
  • Change Management

End user adoption and training

Qualifications and Skills

  • Prince2 – Practitioner/Professional
  • ITIL v3
  • Possess strong technical acumen, with fundamental knowledge of key cloud technologies and tools (Office365, Skype for Business, SharePoint Online, Exchange, Azure or associated technologies)
  • 5+ years of experience of managing projects
  • Expertise in strategic communication, project management, budget management and data analysis
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently over the phone, during face-to-face meetings and via written communications
  • Experience managing standards compliance of systems, applications and processes
  • Proficient in use of project management software and Visio
  • Extreme attention to detail, producing highly professional documentation and deliverables, paying diligent attention to timely follow-through and teamwork.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and enjoy working in a fast-paced technical environment
  • Self-motivation, creativity, deadline enthusiastic, and relentless about quality and communication required.
  • The candidate must work independently, proactively gather consensus from multiple internal stakeholders, holds themselves accountable for the success of the project, can drive prioritisation, and be able to change tasks quickly & communicate changes effectively based on shifts in priorities or urgent deadlines.

Location: Belfast

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with additional hours as and when required

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
