Doorways is a leading supplier of architectural ironmongery, doors, electronic access control systems and door automation to the construction industry in Northern Ireland.

 

We now require to make the following appointment:

 

AUTOMATIC DOOR & ACCESS CONTROL INSTALLATION / SERVICE ENGINEER

 

Due to growth in our Access Control and Door Automation Department, we now require an Installations / Service Engineer to join our busy team.

 

Duties will include the installation and servicing of access control systems and automatic door systems, also attending breakdowns, performing scheduled maintenance visits and the carrying out of installation projects on a variety of automatic doors and systems.

 

Applicants should ideally be from an Access Control or automatic door background, candidates with electro-mechanical experience, with a minimum of 3 years working on such equipment would also be considered.  Skills and knowledge required are; fault finding on electrical systems, the ability to read electrical drawings as well as good organisation and communication.  A CSR card and completion of BS7036 course is not essential but would be advantageous.

 

The successful applicant must be capable of working on their own initiative to exacting deadlines.  They will have a friendly, outgoing disposition and be committed to providing excellent levels of customer service.
