Factory Auditor (Temporary 9-12 months)

Reporting to the Factory Audit Team Leader, you will be given the opportunity to work to defined quality standards assessing best practice across operations including process control, product care, hygiene and ancillary areas at different Moy Park sites.  Day to day duties will include: auditing existing site practices, providing feedback during the audit and assisting in developing an understanding of the required standards across a range of areas; producing written reports of the audits and summary reports of the sites; assisting in the development and implementation of new auditing systems and standards, and identifying issues/ areas for improvement.

You will have science based “A” levels or HND or experience of working in a food manufacturing environment.  Preference will be given to those with a 3rd Level qualification in a food related subject.  You will need to be a good communicator with good interpersonal skills and the ability to provide feedback to site teams on audit findings and produce professional, timely audit reports.  A self motivated individual, you should be able to use your initiative, and be assertive, tenacious and well organised.  Previous experience working in an auditing role, with an understanding of HACCP, BRC and food legislation would be an advantage.  A working knowledge of Excel and Word packages is essential.

As our factories operate 24/ 7, you must be flexible to vary your working hours to cover all shifts. The exact nature of the shift pattern will be discussed at interview. A full driving licence is also required as you will have to travel between sites.
