The candidate we are looking for will be given the support and training investment to become a world class Customer Education Specialist.  This position will be challenging, varied and will require personal confidence in its execution.

As a Customer Education Specialist you will be tasked with two key duties:

  • To ensure customers are fully trained on the benefits and capabilities of the functionality within the MetaCompliance software, while helping the customer understand how the software can be tailored for best practice use within their organisation.
  • Assist in the creation of engaging cyber security awareness plans, tailored to each customers requirement.  To deliver against this plan and monitor its effectiveness demonstrating the changing behaviours, increased cyber security awareness and reduced organisational risk to the customer.

This position would be ideal for a Teaching Professional looking to transfer into the Information Technology industry. Full training on product and subject matter will be provided both inhouse and through industry partners.

Main Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Ability to develop a deep knowledge of the MetaCompliance software and industry. 
  • Being able to advise customers on cyber security awareness best practice that incorporates and adheres to industry frameworks, legislative requirements and trends.  A steep learning curve should be expected.
  • Offer Ideas around the design and development of innovative materials and use of the software, making sure they are professional, relevant and interesting. 
  • Have first class teaching skills to help customers to deliver effectively and in a timely manner against their awareness plans.  Engaging with customers on a regular basis to continually develop these plans to meet changing requirements and to ensure effectiveness.
  • Provide pre-sales support to the Inside Sales Team in educating prospects as to the benefits of this service.

Do you fit this profile?

  • You will need to have a 2nd class degree in any discipline as a minimum and applicants with a PGCE may be prioritized when shortlisting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills are key.
  • Proficient with the MS office suite, CRM system and internet use.
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks allocated and keep relevant stakeholders updated.
  • Must have a great work ethic, be resilient, confident and driven.
  • Ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and to prioritise a heavy workload.
  • Ability to learn quickly & effectively
  • Knowledge of a European Language would be an advantage.
  • Must be an EU citizen or possess a current UK Tier 2 visa and eligible to take up full time, permanent employment.
