 Job Description

The Programme Co-ordinator will be responsible for the overall management of the College Connect Programme across the College network; including achievement of targets. Furthermore the Co-ordinator will be responsible for building relationships with stakeholders and liaising with DFE.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

 

  1. To develop and lead the implementation of an operational plan providing for the efficient and effective discharge of the College Connect programme across the six College network ensuring the programme aims, objectives and KPIs are met.

     

  2. To develop and implement a recruitment and marketing strategy to ensure stakeholders and potential participants across the six College catchment area are made aware of the opportunities available through the College Connect programme.

     

  3. To co-ordinate the design, development and delivery of curriculum, provision and services which are aligned with the programme outcome areas.

 

  1. To coordinate the development of a tailored guidance programme which will inform participants of progression opportunities in each College.

 

  1. To formulate and implement strategic engagement activities across the contract area to promote and secure opportunities for progression into employmnent for participants.

 

  1. To engage strategically with external providers to establish positive progression pathways for participants exiting the College Connect programme; communicating pathways to all lead and programme mentors and monitoring uptake.

 

  1. To coordinate the activities of a team of mentors ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of provision and services.

 

  1. To act as the operational point of contact for communication from DFE; facilitating audit requests and providing financial data and progress reports.

 

  1. To co-ordinate all financial activity ensuring that the programme is delivered within budget complying with College and DFE procedures.

 

  1. To agree in conjunction with each College budgetary expenditure limits for each of the components of the programme to include; staffing and running costs.

 

  1. To monitor expenditure across all components of the programme, ensuring compliance with budget and where necessary re-profiling expenditure to support the achievement of programme targets.
