Job Overview

The International Education team is focused on sales to schools, colleges and universities in various international markets globally. We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and results-focused Business Development Manager to join our team, who will be responsible for new business sales.  The role will require a consistent focus on lead nurturing, opportunity management and the ability to close sales, both directly and through a network of channel partners.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify and close sales opportunities in the Education sector (directly and via resellers).
  • Creation and implementation of channel partner strategy to drive engagement in the partner network.
  • Sales pipeline creation, management and accurate sales forecasting.
  • High level contract negotiation.
  • Proactively generate leads, conduct sales calls and webinars/product demos as required.
  • Attend events and exhibitions in assigned international markets to promote Texthelp and our products.
  • Work with the marketing team to promote Texthelp and liaise with the customer care team to ensure customer success.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records within CRM system.
  • Meet and exceed personal and company targets.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting to Management.

Person Specification

Essential Criteria

  • A minimum of 5 years’ business development experience.
  • Demonstrable track record of driving incremental revenue generation from existing and new customers, and via channel partners.
  • Fluent Spanish (spoken and written).
  • Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Full clean driving licence

Desirable Criteria

  • Knowledge of operating in SaaS business environment.
  • Knowledge of operating in education sector.
  • Third level qualification.
  • Excellent IT skills.
