Position: Alarm Engineer

Duties will include installation, commissioning and maintenance of life safety and security systems (intruder alarm, IP CCTV, access control, fire detection and alarm).

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A thorough understanding of the Security and Fire Industry including NSI & BAFE standards and regulations, with a minimum of 3 years’ industry experience
  • The capability and experience to complete installations, programming, and commissioning of all types of electronic security and fire systems, to the required NSI Gold standard with minimal supervision
  • Ability to deliver excellence in customer service throughout including at customer handover and delivery of customer training
  • Ability to carry out service maintenance visits including all necessary tests, fault finding procedures and repairs on all types of electronic life safety and security systems (Fire, Intruder, CCTV and Access)

The successful candidate will be a professional engineer, motivated, diligent, and focussed on delivering a premium level of customer service. A full clean driving licence will be required for this position, and you will be required to participate in a call-out rota.

The package is negotiable (Range: £25k – £30k) depending on experience and will include a company vehicle. Hours of work are Mon – Fri 08:30 – 17:00 (with a 30-minute lunch break).

In accordance with the requirements of the National Security Inspectorate, the candidate will be required to be security cleared, with satisfactory character and employment references.
