Job Title: Marketing and Communications Officer

Salary:  NJC SCP 26 – 31:  £23,866 – 28,221 

Contract: This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis.

Location:CSSC Headquarters is at Stranmillis University College, Stranmillis Road, Belfast.

CSSC is a non-statutory body, funded by Department of Education and is a company limited by guarantee. 

As the Marketing and Communications Officer, you will assist in the development and delivery of the organisation’s marketing and communications strategies to enable CSSC to support the interests of schools within the controlled sector.

Essential criteria

Applicants must be able to demonstrate:

A Bachelor’s degree relevant to the post (UK Qualification and Credit Framework level 6 or equivalent) plus 2 years’ experience working in the marketing and communications function of an organisation.

OR

A Bachelor’s degree (UK Qualification and Credit Framework level 6 or equivalent) plus 3 years’ experience working in the marketing and communications function of an organisation.

And applicants must also have:

  • Demonstrable experience of successful marketing and / or communications of an organisation.
  • Demonstrable experience of working with the media including print, broadcast and digital media.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team.
