JOB REFERENCE: HGVDB/1218 JOB TITLE: HGV DRIVER & GENERAL DUTIES LOCATION: BANGOR
MacBlair Bangor, a long established builder’s merchant based on the Balloo Road, Bangor and part of the MacBlair Group, require to recruit a dedicated self-motivated person to fill the following position.
RELIEF HGV DRIVER (HGV CLASS ‘C’) & GENERAL DUTIES
Working within our busy store and yard, the successful applicant will efficiently and effectively assist and serve collect customers, assemble orders for delivery, check goods-in from suppliers, assist with loading company delivery vehicles and ensure the highest levels of housekeeping are maintained.
This is a dual role and at times you will be required to perform driving duties subject to the needs of the business that will include delivering building materials to customers in a safe, efficient, effective and courteous manner so applicants should hold a HGV Class C Licence and have no less than 2 years commercial driving experience.
Due to the nature of the role the successful candidate will have a willing and flexible disposition.
Skills / Experience
Candidates must be in possession of a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and Digital Tachograph Card at the date of application.
