Company Background

North South Retail ltd (NSR) supply a wide range of premium brand food concepts and solutions to the foodservice markets throughout Ireland. NSR has recently undertaken an exciting new range of well -established branded products, ideal for most catering establishments and new to Ireland. We are looking an experienced hard working Business Development Manager with a real love and passion for food to join us and grow this category.

Package

Salary £30- £35K (based on specific experience) + Commission+ expenses + car, 40hr week, 28 days holiday, Pension. Ideally Belfast based. Reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Summary Description

The role is primarily new sales development to N Ireland’s growing hotel and restaurant sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing existing customers’ accounts to their full potential and identify and convert new business opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop new business through cold calling and organised journey plans with particular focus on Hotels and restaurants
  • Developing existing customers to sell and promote the full range of NSR Foodservice and Retail products
  • Maximising sales opportunity on each customer visit
  • Developing the professional relationship with customers
  • Achieve company sales and margin targets
  • Professionally handling customer queries ensuring resolution

Desirable skills and experience

  • 5 years’ selling experience in a similar food related business
  • A real passion and love of food, innovation, food trends and ability to convey this passion to other catering professionals.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills together with organisational skills
  • An ability and confidence to demonstrate the superior quality of our product range and how this will benefit the customers’ business.
