Working as part of the Distribution team based in our global headquarters in Craigavon, you will be responsible for the effective co-ordination and processing of Almac Pharma Services Sales Orders and shipping requests received into the Distribution Department.

The Role

Working as part of the Distribution team based in our global headquarters in Craigavon, you will be responsible for the effective co-ordination and processing of Almac Pharma Services Sales Orders and shipping requests received into the Distribution Department.  This will include prioritising shipping orders, liaising with couriers and carriers, communicating with Project Managers and Product Supply Managers and the preparation of distribution paperwork. The post holder will be one of the main internal contacts for all Almac Pharma Services distribution related queries.

Essential Criteria

  • Degree (or equivalent) qualification OR Significant experience in similar role may be considered in lieu of academic requirements
  • Experience in a customer facing role within an order processing or distribution environment
  • Report generation and circulation      
  • Understanding of the export documentation requirement for shipments to countries outside the EU.

Desirable Criteria

(The following criteria may be applied if a large pool of applicants exist)

  • Responsible for generating job packs within an order processing or distribution environment
  • Previous experience of operating a computerised inventory system (i.e. booking in orders, stock movements etc.
  • Previous experience of GDP and GMP
