Job Title – Credit Controller

Location – Kilwaughter, Co. Antrim

Reporting to – Group Financial Controller

Due to expansion, we are recruiting for a credit controller to join our professional, friendly and enthusiastic team. As part of our finance team you will provide help with credit control of the companies debtors by dealing politely but firmly with company customers

Kilwaughter is a privately owned, forward thinking business based in Kilwaughter, Co. Antrim, centrally located to Belfast, Ballymena and Carrickfergus. We are a 200-strong team where we invest in growth to ensure a long term sustainable company.

We manufacture and distribute innovative limestone-based products to the construction and agricultural markets across the UK and Ireland and are the UK’s largest independent manufacturer of K Rend, a silicone coloured render.

Working within our finance team you will be providing the management team with accurate, relevant and timely information. You will have dual responsibility for the debtors of the company and also provide confidential and efficient administrative support for the company as required.

The Job:

  • Provide credit control of the companies debtors by dealing politely but firmly with company customers at all levels to ensure payment targets are met
  • Arrange for collection of debts per company procedures
  • Deal with queries from debtors ensuring these are followed up in a timely manner
  • Maintain files and records and providing quick accurate information when required
  • Process debtor reports as required

What You Will Need:

  • Experience of credit control preferably within a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of using Microsoft Excel and an ERP system
  • Strong attention to detail, with ability to accurately provide and analyse reports
  • Ability to use initiative to make decisions
