 Job Description

To provide rugby development services on behalf of the postholder’s allocated club for Primary schools, Secondary schools and Community organisations within a local authority Council catchment area.

 

 

Ulster Rugby is currently inviting applications for the post of Club Participation Officer in partnership with Randalstown RFC.  Reporting to the Rugby Development Officer, the job holder will assist Ulster Rugby with development services on behalf of the postholder’s allocated club for Primary schools, Secondary schools and Community organisations within a designated catchment area.

The successful candidate will have IRFU Stage 1 or Stage 2 LTPD Coaching Qualification (or equivalent) or Stage 3 LTPD Coaching qualification or a Minimum HND (L5) qualification in a sport related academic courseThey must have demonstrable experience of coaching at Stage 1, Stage 2 or Stage 3 of the LTPD pathway (age 6-18) and be fully flexible as weekends & evenings work will be required.

This post is funded through the Sport NI “Every Body Active 2020” programme in partnership with Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough Council and the members of Randalstown RFC.  It is being offered on a fixed term, 28 hours per week contract from the date of commencement to 31st March 2020. Continuation of the post is subject to receipt of ongoing funding.
