Civils Group Development Executive - Belfast (Regional Coverage) - Develop new and existing relationships with our civils sales manager, customers and our branch network to increase sales of our growing civils product offering.

Based: Regional Coverage

About this Role:

This is a new role within JP Corry specification sales to further develop sales opportunities. The role is responsible for developing new and existing relationships with our civils sales manager, customers and our branch network to increase sales of our growing civils product offering. Spanning the Northern Irish landscape, this role will draw on their own networks in the field as well as leveraging our 17 branches across the group to further grow and embed the brand and product offering in the marketplace.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of target customer opportunities.
  • Engage with new and existing customers and suppliers to expand our product offering.
  • Ensure a seamless sales process from ordering through to the scheduling of materials.
  • Build strong relationships with our branch network and customer base to have our products listed on specification.
  • Continuously improve technical knowledge in relation to changing market, regulations, new solutions, new products and suppliers.
  • Actively seek and develop innovative new product and service opportunities.
  • Liaise with group sales office on sales analysis and opportunities.
  • Produce regular reports on activity and results.

Suitable applicants will ideally be/have:

  • Established proven track record in a field based construction sales role.
  • Previous experience of prospecting and generating sales opportunities.
  • Knowledge of construction contract procedures, material supply chains and systems.
  • Established relationships within the construction industry.
  • Adaptable with the ability to learn and apply new ways of working with technical concepts.
  • Must have a current and clean driving license.
  • (Desirable) Third level education in a construction related subject.
